Research Finance Analyst II

Managing a portfolio of sponsored projects, the full-time Research Finance Analyst II will perform post-award financial functions, including budget analysis, invoicing, and financial reporting, while working remotely. Key responsibilities Oversee grant-related financial functions, ensuring compliance with sponsor terms and conditions Review contracts and new awards to assess financial management impacts and provide feedback to administration Communicate with investigators and department administrators regarding the financial status of sponsored funds Required qualifications BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience preferred Two to five years of relevant work experience, with a strong preference for post-award research finance experience Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively Deductive reasoning skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
