Job Title: Associate Pastor Reports to: Senior Pastor Position Type: Full-time Brief Description: The Associate Pastor will assist the Senior Pastor in carrying out the ministry of the church. Compensation: Pine Street Baptist Church offers a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience, qualifications, and ministry background. Minimum Requirements Confessing born again believer in Jesus Christ. Meet the character qualifications for Pastor found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Maintain a close personal walk with Jesus Christ. Ordained to the Gospel ministry or willingness to be ordained and gives evidence of a divine call to ministry. Affirms our doctrinal statement found in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Responsibilities/Duties Assist the Senior Pastor in the overall mission and leadership of the church. Preach and teach as needed. Assist the Senior Pastor in shepherding and caring for the church family, which includes outreach, contacting members, and providing counseling when needed. Coordinate with Senior Pastor in planning all worship services. Develop and oversee discipleship ministry of the church.
