Responsibilities:Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of financial audit engagements and projects in line with firm risk management practices Develops, maintains and monitors work plans. Performs first-line issue resolution. Provides updates on engagement progress and helps draft final reportsAssist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for clientsWork on teams focused on advisory projects and assist engagement management to successfully complete engagement objectivesHelp identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and lead client presentations Participate in firm go-to-market activities, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the development of proposals specific to the federal advisory practiceQualifications:A minimum of eight years of experience performing internal or external audits; US Federal government consulting experience preferredBachelors degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; CPA or CIA certificate requiredDemonstrated track record of leading project teams, development of staff, senior client management, and development of new business proposals Demonstrated expertise in areas of: A-123, financial audit readiness, federal financial audit, enterprise risk, and federal financial managementAbility to travel as required to support firm engagementsApplicant must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearanceKPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
