About the Position

The position involves weekdays, every other weekend, and holiday shifts. Candidates must possess required certifications including BCLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience in emergency care is essential, with a preferred background in smaller emergency departments. Skills in starting IVs and triage are mandatory. Successful candidates will handle a variety of critical situations, including managing trauma, respiratory distress, and mental health crises. Knowledge of emergency medications, intubation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation protocols is important. The role requires the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Applicants should have experience using Cerner as a charting system. This position may involve maintaining a high patient ratio.
