The ideal candidate will have strong procurement or supply chain experience and be comfortable managing multiple priorities while working closely with internal teams and suppliers. SAVARD is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement activities for a fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement or supply chain experience and be comfortable managing multiple priorities while working closely with internal teams and suppliers. Key Requirements:
- Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field highly preferred.
- 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies for MRO.
- Experience executing RFPs and RFQs.
- Experience with contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud/EBS, JD Edwards, or Glovia is preferred.
Shifts:
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Work Arrangement: 100% on-site for the first 30-60 days; hybrid schedule may be available after training based on performance.
