The candidate will be responsible for Reliability and Continuous Improvement program to ensure that the facility complies with all company requirements and recommendations; regulatory requirements; and relevant codes, standards, guidelines and Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) from industrial and professional organizations.Our TeamEstablished in 2020, Albany Lumber has grown into a dynamic operation powered by a team of approximately 150 skilled individuals. Using the industry’s latest technology, Albany Lumber receives approximately 180 log trucks a day and can produce approximately 300 million board feet of lumber each year. The company produces a diverse range of high-quality lumber products, including 24 and 26 boards essential to modern construction. Each piece begins with sustainably harvested Southern yellow pine. To learn more about our Building Products division, visit You Will DoLead the site’s effort to build, implement, and manage a sustainable Maintenance Reliability programManage and prioritize site’s fixed equipment efforts based on risk, value, compliance, and business needsDevelop and implement inspection plans, maintenance strategies, and repair procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of fixed equipmentDevelop and maintain site’s fixed equipment, short- and long-term plansSite owner and steward of tools, enablers, associate data and information associated with fixed equipment inspection, testing, and preventative maintenanceUtilize best practices and standards that need to be implemented to standardize the site’s processes and execution of fixed equipment programMaintain metrics to measure progress of the fixed equipment program and review that progress with site leaders on a standard cadenceCollaborate/partner and work with other site capabilities groups aligning with safety, environmental, and business visionProvide technical expertise and support to operations, maintenance and capital project teams in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment optimizationParticipate in the design and construction of new fixed equipment to ensure maintainability, reliability, and safe operation\Assist in recognizing when equipment deficiencies occur, including controls to help ensure that equipment deficiencies do not lead to serious incidentsEnsure that personnel assigned to inspect, test, and maintain fixed equipment are appropriately qualified and have access to appropriate procedures for these activitiesProvide engineering support for Maintenance and Operations (troubleshooting, problem solving, cost estimating and implementation of mechanical design solutions)Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) efforts to identify root causes of mechanical integrity problems\Active participation in design and implementation of Asset Improvement Strategies for systems to improve production and uptime.Lead and develop the site’s continuous improvement processWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering OR Four (4+) or more years of maintenance/reliability experience in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, oil/gas, energy, or military environmentExperience managing and executing fixed equipment or mechanical integrity programsExperience leading and/or supervising employeesWhat Will Put You AheadExperience supervising direct reports to include employees and contractorsAPI CertificationsVibration CertificationsSix Sigma CertificationsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
