Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Job: Accounts Payable Accountant

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Onsite: 2x per week in office

Hourly Pay: $45-$50/hr., depending on experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Our biotechnology client is looking for a strong Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team for a long-term contract. This is a sole contributor role.

Job Description:

• Full cycle invoice processing – high volume of invoices.
• Research and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Handle month-end journal entries and reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Full cycle accounts payable processing experience.
• Exposure to the GL side is nice to have – reconciliations, journal entry preparation, etc.
• Previous experience with SAP and/or Concur is preferred, but open to candidates with other large ERP experience (Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc.)
• Strong Excel experience in a high-volume data environment.
