The Wellness Instructor is responsible for performing daily tasks that align with the department’s long-term goals and objectives, provides excellent customer service, and actively aspires to reach defined goals and objectives meanwhile providing exceptional levels of services, personalized attention and professional state-of-the-art instruction that significantly contributes to each member’s health, wellness, and fitness goals. Ability to lead 2-4 classes per week in the modalities of strength, functional training, TRX, HIIT, Pilates, cycling, golf fitness, and flexibility training. Provide a high level of personalized attention to guests before, during and after class. Assist with the cleanliness of the exercise class studios and the maintenance of the exercise class equipment; monitor the cleanliness and safety of the studio. Energetic, friendly, positive, and motivational teaching style Focus on customer service with ability to build strong relationships with members. Conducts private or duet training sessions as needed Dedicated, reliable, and punctual. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of two years’ experience leading Fitness Classes Preferred Private Club experience. CPR/First Aid certified preferred. Physical Requirements : Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 3 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
