We’re hiring a Full-Time Kitchen Shift Leader (Elite Samurai) to lead shifts, support the team, and ensure every dish meets our standards for quality, speed, and consistency. What You’ll Do Lead kitchen operations during opening and closing shifts Execute all stations (grill, wok, prep, and line) with consistency and speed Train and mentor team members, setting clear expectations Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and ticket times Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and fully compliant with food safety standards Support team morale and create a positive, high-performance environment Act as a brand ambassador for Balance inside and outside the restaurant Schedule & Pay Full-time position Starting at $17.50/hr (based on experience and training) Schedules posted 2 weeks in advance for consistency Performance-based raises – learn more, earn more Top performers can earn $23+/hr by mastering all kitchen positions Benefits & Perks Weekly pay Free meal every shift Paid time off after 90 days (with open availability) Major holidays off Clear path to higher leadership roles Consistent scheduling in a fast-paced, team-driven environment What We’re Looking For Previous line cook experience required (leadership experience preferred) Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to stay organized and lead under pressure High standards for cleanliness, food quality, and efficiency Positive attitude with a team-first mindset Reliable, punctual, and accountable Grow Into Leadership At Balance Grille, leadership isn’t just a title—it’s a skill you build.
