DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Software Development Engineer Senior in Irving, TX.Duties Include:* Design, develop, and support integrations between internal systems and third-party applications, platforms, and service providers* Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and system interfaces to enable reliable data exchange across business and technology platforms* Develop user-friendly tools and applications that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and well-governed data integration solutions* Translate business and technical requirements into reliable, high-quality software solutions* Utilize modern development tools and best practices to deliver efficient, maintainable, and scalable applications* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, integration, and data-related issues* Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, security, and data quality standardsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience* 5+ years of experience developing backend applications, services, or APIs using modern programming languages* 5+ years of experience integrating third-party applications, APIs, and data exchange solutions* Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, data pipelines, and data processing technologies* Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms and services* Familiarity with frontend development frameworks and building internal business applications* Experience with containerization, deployment automation, and modern software development practices* Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersJob TypeContractCompensation55 - $60
