Job Title Lead, Program Management Job Code 38105 Job Location San Diego, CA Job Schedule 9/80 (Every other Friday off) Job Description This position manages all phases (cost, schedule, performance) of complex electronic developmental programs ranging in size from $500K to $100M. These programs provide Space RF communications products, Space Encryption products or airborne RF communication terminals. Managers will succeed in external customer interactions while leading internal development and product teams in a growing, profitable business that delivers critical products to our nation’s warfighters. Essential Job Functions & Duties Own program performance and results from proposal through delivery and support. Track and monitor technical, contract, and cost performance to ensure requirements and budgets are met. Prepare Program Plans including schedules, Statements of Work, Work Breakdown Structures and budgets; develop baseline budgets, work packages and integrated schedules. Manage subcontractors, including development of Statements of Work, participation in source selection and monitoring subcontracted efforts. Participate and co‑lead proposal efforts and contract negotiations; may lead a “Must Win” program proposal effort, including the development of Management Volumes, generation of Basis of Estimates (BOE), and Cost Volume support. Chair internal and customer program reviews. Serve as the primary customer interface, ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting all contractual and financial requirements, including EVMS tracking when required. Support the Program Management Department in updating existing processes/procedures and creating new ones as needed. Travel expected to be less than 10% of time. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Experience with RF Communication, Telemetry or Encryption products. Direct program management experience with design and production of electronic products for DoD, preferably in Space, Telemetry or Encryption programs. Proven track record as a team leader with a proactive approach to Program Management; willingness, ability and aptitude to take ownership of a program with minimal oversight. Demonstrated experience in proposal preparation as defined above. Salary & Benefits In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $127,500 – $236,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $110,500 – $205,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
