About the Role:

McTegrity Construction Services is looking for a motivated Carpenter Helper to join our growing team accross Monmouth County NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn the trade, and build a rewarding career in construction alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead carpenters with framing, finishing, and general carpentry tasks on job sites
• Measure, cut, and prepare lumber and other building materials as directed
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Support installation of structures, fixtures, and woodwork components
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Follow instructions from lead carpenters and site supervisors to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• Prior construction or carpentry experience is required — willingness to learn is a must
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction materials
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• Valid driver's license and truck
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately and safely
