Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Care Hospital

Location: Walla Walla, WA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services in a short-term acute care and Level III trauma center. The OT will assist patients with functional recovery, mobility, and discharge planning while working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care occupational therapy evaluations and treatments
• Support patient rehabilitation and functional independence
• Float between hospital units as needed
• Manage patient caseload (approx. 1:10 ratio)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care using EPIC system
• Assist with discharge planning and care coordination
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Provide therapy services in an inpatient hospital setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State OT License (IN HAND REQUIRED)
• Minimum 1 year acute care OT experience (hard requirement)
• Inpatient Rehab (IPR) experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float between units
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• EPIC experience preferred
