SAP Cloud Integration Specialist [Remote]

This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver enterprise integration solutions that connect critical business systems across modern SAP landscapes.
You will work on complex integration initiatives involving SAP S/4HANA, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
The position focuses on building secure, scalable, and reliable integration architectures that support business transformation.
You will collaborate with architects, functional experts, and technical teams throughout the full integration lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced SAP integration professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
You will contribute to improving operational efficiency through innovative integration patterns, automation, and cloud technologies.

Accountabilities:

As a SAP Cloud Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite and Cloud Platform Integration. You will manage end-to-end integration delivery while ensuring reliability, security, and alignment with business requirements.

• Design, develop, and maintain integration scenarios connecting SAP S/4HANA, SAP applications, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
• Manage the complete integration lifecycle, including requirements analysis, interface design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and post-production support.
• Build and configure SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) iFlows using appropriate adapters, scripting, and integration patterns.
• Develop and maintain integration components using Groovy and Java scripting where required.
• Apply enterprise integration best practices across API management, messaging architectures, and middleware solutions.
• Support SAP API Management and event-driven integration initiatives.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, analyze performance challenges, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, functional consultants, and technical stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable integrations.
• Document integration designs, technical specifications, and operational processes.
• Support modernization initiatives, including migrations from SAP PI/PO environments to SAP Integration Suite.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong SAP integration expertise and experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions across complex technology environments. You should combine technical depth with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of SAP integration experience, including at least 3 years working with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Strong hands-on experience developing SAP CPI iFlows, working with Groovy/Java scripting, and configuring CPI adapters.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns, middleware concepts, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience with SAP API Management and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of SAP PI/PO and experience migrating interfaces to SAP CPI is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with security standards including OAuth2, SAML, and certificate-based authentication.
• Experience integrating SAP platforms such as S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or Concur.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• SAP Integration Suite or CPI certification is preferred.
• Experience with SAP Event Mesh, SAP Advanced Event Mesh, SAP BTP, CAP framework, or non-SAP integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD processes for SAP integration content transport is beneficial.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for new visa petitions.
