Mid-Senior Level Wage & Hour Associate

Position Title: Mid-Senior Level Wage & Hour Associate This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced legal professional to engage in significant wage and hour litigation under the California Labor Code, PAGA, and the FLSA. The associate will handle complex cases from inception to resolution, collaborating with multiple partners and gaining exposure to various aspects of labor and employment law. Salary Range: $245,000 - $270,000 / Year DOE Mid-Senior Level Wage & Hour Associate Responsibilities: Litigate claims under the California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA Manage wage, hour, class, and representative matters from inception through resolution Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings Prepare and argue motions, including class certification and decertification motions Take and defend depositions Analyze exemption classifications and compliance issues Collaborate with multiple partners on various cases Engage in PAGA representative actions Mid-Senior Level Wage & Hour Associate Requirements: Substantial experience litigating claims under the California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA Meaningful experience handling wage and hour class and representative matters from inception through resolution Proactive and self-starter attributes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience from a smaller boutique firm or a desire to transition from a large firm is preferred Benefits: 401(k) match and eligibility from the first day of employment Medical and prescription benefits with multiple plan options Dental and vision insurance with various coverage levels Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts Unlimited vacation with approval from partners Parental leave and profit-sharing options Life insurance, long-term disability, and employee assistance programs
