Unit Director Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama is seeking a Unit Director to lead the daily operations of one of our Club locations. This position is responsible for overseeing high-quality youth programs and services while creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where young people can learn, grow, and succeed. The Unit Director will provide leadership for Club staff, manage day-to-day operations, oversee facility and resource management, and build strong relationships with families, schools, and community partners to ensure the Club continues to meet the needs of the youth we serve. The Unit Director will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer and organizational leadership to develop and implement programs that support positive youth development, supervise and mentor staff, manage budgets and administrative functions, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This role will also help strengthen community partnerships, promote Club programs and services, and support fundraising initiatives that advance the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama. Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience Minimum of five years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth-serving organization, including supervising staff and programs Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff Experience managing budgets and organizational resources Demonstrated ability to work effectively with youth, families, staff, and community partners Valid driver's license and ability to successfully pass a background check SALARY $35-$45K 40 hours per week Occasional evenings and weekends required for Club activities, special events, and organizational needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
