Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) services for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves providing quality and efficient patient care consistent with unit standards and organizational goals, while working within surgical services. Candidates will float within surgical services as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PACU

• Obtain and record initial assessment and establish priorities based on patient needs.
• Re-assess patients to monitor progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care within nursing standards.
• Make nursing decisions based on patient outcome evaluations, modifying care plans as needed.
• Participate in patient and significant other health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely interventions based on patient needs.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PACU

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served.
