What You'll Do

Provide direct nursing care to medical and step-down unit patients
Monitor patient conditions and record vital signs regularly
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
Document patient responses and treatment effectiveness accurately
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards

What You Need

Active Kansas Nursing License and BLS certification (required)
Minimum 1 year recent experience in Medical/Surgical or Step Down units
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
