Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position located at our New Lenox, IL location. A Sales Associate will greet customers, assess their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process, including test drives and feature demonstrations. Daily responsibilities include explaining pricing and financing options, preparing sales documentation, and coordinating with finance and service departments to ensure a smooth customer experience. The role involves maintaining product knowledge on Cadillac, Buick, and GMC vehicles, following up with prospects and existing customers, and using dealership tools and systems to track leads and sales activity. Sales Associates are expected to contribute to team goals, uphold dealership standards, and support a welcoming showroom environment. Qualifications Proven customer service and sales abilities, with a focus on building rapport and long-term relationships. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and clear, professional presentation. Basic proficiency with computers, CRM systems, and common office software; ability to learn dealership-specific tools. Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple customers and tasks efficiently. Comfort with learning vehicle features, specifications, and automotive terminology; prior automotive experience is a plus. High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability, with a commitment to ethical and transparent sales practices. Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed, and stand or move around the showroom for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
