Electronics Technician Join a growing team where you'll play a key role in building and testing advanced hydraulic positioning equipment used by leading industrial customers. This is more than an assembly role. You'll diagnose issues, work with cutting-edge electrical and hydraulic systems, and collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers in a supportive, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot hydraulic positioning equipment and control systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance. Build and wire control panels, including routing, connecting, and testing components. Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to assemble and repair systems. Align and position components using precision techniques and lifting equipment. Partner with engineers and fellow technicians to improve processes and solve technical challenges. Maintain high quality standards while following all safety procedures. What We're Looking For Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings. Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and control panel assembly. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with integrated electrical and hydraulic equipment. Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical training in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or a related field. Experience building, wiring, and testing industrial control panels. Knowledge of industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems. Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
