JOB SUMMARY:

This position will support all functions of the operation including: Operation of various types of welding and fabricating equipment. Ability to fit complex parts for inspection prior to final weld. Gauge and inspect parts as required. Palletize finished parts and perform quality documentation sign-offs as required. Support production operations by ensuring the smooth flow of material from operation to operation. Active involvement and support of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement initiatives. Adhere to 5S practices and maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. Work flexible hours and overtime as required. Job Requirements: Must have mig welding experience with materials including carbon, stainless steel and aluminum. Blueprint reading and the ability to comprehend engineering drawings, tolerances and general dimensional information. Capable of fixture design and setup. Perform quality inspections and follow ISO guidelines for product traceability. Education level: HS Diploma with some college or technical trade school to support qualifications including welding certifications.
