In addition, the material handler is responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (receiving, stocking, delivering, and shipping) in assigned operations facility.Essential Duties:Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned areas to maintain inventory levels for productionAbility to accurately verify parts and quantities and complete BOL's to receive and/or ship materialOperate all material handling equipment (stand-up, sit-down, combi, lancer, tugger) in assigned operations facilityMaintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 5S standardsUse best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipmentUtilize computer equipment to interact with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to record inventory transactions as they are completedOther duties, as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Ability to become forklift certifiedGood computer, math, and reading skillsAbility to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processesCapable of making accurate decisions under set guidelinesPreferred Qualifications:1-3 years of applicable position experienceExperience using warehouse technology or electronicsCompetencies:Accountability: Responsible for the consequences of one's actionsAttention to detail: Ability to see and become attentive to detailsTeam-oriented: Working well with others and maintaining a focus and value on teamFlexible: Ability to respond, modify, and integrate change with minimal personal resistanceFollowing Directions: Effectively understand and follow directions or instructionsAbility to Meet Standards: Understanding established requirements to complete a task, job, or project and individual commitment to complete themQuality focused: Striving for continuous improvement and high-quality standardsIntegrity: Adhering to standards, values, and code of conduct within positionStress management: Ability to perform under pressure and fast-paced environmentsReliability: Extent to which you can be counted on to do what is expected (completing assigned tasks, projects, and meeting deadlines)Dependable: Punctual and meets work attendance and deadline requirementsWorking Conditions:Physical Demands: Frequent: Standing, Walking/Running, Sitting, Reaching, Hearing, Talking, Visual, typing; Occasional: Climbing, Driving, Bending/Kneeling, Hearing, Talking, Visual, Typing, Fine Dexterity, Manual Dexterity; Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion, Lifting/Carrying 25lbs., Pushing/Pulling 25llbs.Environmental Demands: Occasional: Work Alone, Frequent Task Changes, Tedious/Exacting Work, Dust, Temperature Extremes, Loud Noises.Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
