SALES MANAGER Genesis Health Clubs

Genesis Health Clubs is looking for a motivated, competitive, and people-focused Sales Manager to lead membership growth and build a high-performing sales team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves developing people, creating energy, and delivering results. You’ll recruit and coach Fitness Advisors, drive guest traffic, improve closing performance, and take ownership of the club’s membership growth.

And you won’t be managing from the sidelines. Our Sales Managers lead from the front , maintaining strong personal production while helping their team win.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead & Develop Your Team

• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop Fitness Advisors
• Create a positive, competitive, and accountable sales culture
• Coach your team through regular training, role-playing, and one-on-one development
• Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly expectations
• Recognize strong performance and quickly address opportunities for improvement
• Partner with the Club Manager to execute club sales strategies and goals

Drive Membership Growth

• Achieve personal sales goals while leading the club toward its overall targets
• Drive consistent growth in membership and monthly dues revenue
• Engage guests, build relationships, and confidently guide prospects through the membership process
• Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies when needed
• Lead by example through prospecting, follow-up, appointments, tours, and closing

Build the Pipeline

• Increase guest traffic through consistent, proactive lead generation
• Generate opportunities through referrals, outreach, prospecting, phone calls, social networking, and local business partnerships
• Create a strong appointment pipeline for yourself and your team
• Track lead activity, appointment volume, show rates, and conversions
• Develop new strategies when the pipeline needs more activity

Own the Sales Process

• Make sure every guest receives a welcoming, professional, and consistent experience
• Ensure prospects are properly entered and managed within the CRM
• Oversee the entire sales journey from initial contact through closing and follow-up
• Maintain strong standards for documentation, follow-up, and sales process compliance
• Keep the team focused on both the numbers and the member experience

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Our ideal candidate is a leader, coach, competitor, and salesperson who knows how to create results through both personal effort and team performance.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2+ years of successful sales experience
• Fitness, health club, hospitality, retail, or service-industry experience is a plus
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team-development experience
• Proven ability to consistently achieve sales goals
• Strong recruiting, interviewing, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with performance data
• Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
• Ability to balance team leadership with personal sales production
