Position: Contract HR Coordinator About the Role:
Nesco is looking for a hands-on Contract HR Coordinator to provide temporary support to the Human Resources Director during a period of increased hiring and business activity. Recruiting and onboarding will be a primary focus but this role will also assist with HR administration employee activities special projects and other department needs as they arise. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety is comfortable jumping in where needed and can quickly shift priorities in a fast-paced HR environment.
What Youll Be Doing: Learn the Manufacturing Plant and Distribution Center operations positions and work environments to effectively recruit and communicate job expectations to candidates. Conduct phone screens and help identify qualified candidates for open manufacturing and distribution positions. Coordinate interviews including scheduling candidates sending interview agendas and sending calendar invitations to interview teams. Greet candidates and help create a welcoming candidate experience. Follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting process and communicate next steps. Learn the clients benefit offerings and confidently provide candidates with an overview of available benefits. Extend job offers and communicate pre-employment and onboarding requirements. Complete new-hire onboarding through Paylocity including electronic I-9 completion and E-Verify. Conduct new-hire orientation and help prepare employees for their first day. Organize file and maintain employee records as needed. Assist with planning and coordinating the company Holiday Party and other employee activities as needed. Provide general administrative support to Human Resources and assist with other projects and duties as needed. What Were Looking For: Previous recruiting human resources staffing or related experience preferred. Comfortable communicating with candidates by phone and in person and representing the client in a professional welcoming manner. Strong organization attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple candidates interviews and priorities in a fast-paced hiring environment. Comfortable learning manufacturing and distribution jobs and spending time in both work environments. Experience with an HRIS or applicant tracking system preferred; Paylocity experience is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and calendar scheduling. Ability to handle confidential employee and candidate information with discretion. Dependable self-motivated flexible and willing to jump in wherever HR support is needed.
