Marketing & Events Manager Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce|Full-Time|Milledgeville, GA About the Role The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a creative and dynamic professional to serve as our Marketing & Events Manager. In this multi-faceted role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the Chamber's visibility, promoting events and programs, and ensuring consistent brand representation across all platforms. This is a unique opportunity to put your creativity and communication skills to work for the benefit of our members and the broader Milledgeville-Baldwin County community. Key Responsibilities Social Media & Digital Marketing Develop and manage engaging content across all Chamber social media platforms to grow our online presence and member engagement Create eye-catching promotional materials for Chamber events and programs, including graphics, digital ads, brochures, and flyers Curate and produce our weekly member newsletter, keeping members informed about Chamber news, events, and opportunities Maintain and update the Chamber website with current news, events, and member spotlights Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Chamber initiatives, events, and member promotions Ensure the Chamber's brand identity is consistently represented across all communication channels and materials Track and report on digital marketing metrics to continuously improve reach and engagement Event Planning & Coordination Help plan, coordinate, and execute Chamber signature events and programs including networking mixers, annual banquets, expos, and community-focused programs Handle event registration processes and attendee communications Assist in recruiting and stewarding event sponsors and community partners Capture event content — photos, video, and highlights — for use across marketing channels Collaborate with Chamber staff and board committees to develop new event concepts that serve member needs Qualifications We value demonstrated ability. Here’s what we're looking for: Proven experience in marketing, communications, events, or a similar role Excellent proficiency in social media management and content creation Strong graphic design skills — experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team Event coordination and promotion experience is a strong plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
