Labor & Delivery RN – L&D / Postpartum / Nursery

Shift Information

• Primary Shift: Night 3x12-Hour
  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Alternate Shift: Night 4x12-Hour
  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
    Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) AltShift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Schedule Pattern: 36/48-hour pay period structure (facility-wide standard)
• Blocked scheduling: Not permitted

Required Experience

• Minimum 5+ years recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience in an acute care setting
• Must have experience in:
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Postpartum (PP)
  • Nursery care
• Resource will rotate across L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery units

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

EMR

• Meditech experience preferred/required

Floating & Scheduling

• Floating required within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required
• Ratios may fluctuate based on census and unit needs

Licensure

• Active Kentucky RN License or Compact License required
