Duties Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems such as AS400.Operate heavy equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.Perform order picking and packing tasks with precision to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate shipping.Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment, ensuring proper material handling to prevent damage or injury.Conduct stock replenishment, stocking, and warehouse distribution activities while maintaining organized storage areas.Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.Assist in packaging products in accordance with specifications and safety standards while adhering to OSHA regulations.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve inventory management processes, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse operations and materials handling.Valid certification for operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms; experience with RF scanners is a plus.Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic troubleshooting skills.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods; physical stamina is essential.Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety is required.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy.Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors on daily tasks.
