Role Overview: As an Inventory Specialist at Uptown Cheapskate Charlottesville, you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring that our customers have access to a well-organized selection of fashionable items. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the store manager to maintain a pristine store environment and contribute to our mission of sustainability and exceptional customer service. You will work on-site at our Charlottesville location, allowing for hands-on involvement in our daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Sort and organize incoming inventory while ensuring products meet our quality standards. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and manage backstock. Prepare items for display and ensure that all merchandise is organized and visually appealing. Facilitate the smooth movement of inventory between sales floors and back stock. Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Previous experience in inventory management or retail operations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
