As a fully remote practice, we offer the flexibility for our therapists to work from home, combining convenience with a collaborative virtual team culture. While adhering to a Monday through Friday work schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), our telehealth platform ensures that you can provide quality care to your clients from anywhere. Our team relies on modern technology to facilitate seamless communication, case management, and patient engagement, making sure you have the tools needed to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and patterns of mood disorder symptoms in clients, enabling informed treatment decisions.

  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique backgrounds, goals, and therapeutic needs, integrating evidence-based methodologies.

  • Utilize interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide clients through their therapeutic journeys.

  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, discussing available treatment options and empowering them with self-care strategies.
  • \n
  • Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met effectively.
  • \n
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to clients.

  • Stay abreast of current research and innovations in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment protocols and patient care strategies.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client assessments and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.

  • Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights, enhance clinical skills, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

  • Advocate for clients, promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on working with adults facing challenges related to mood disorders. Our clients often come from various backgrounds and cultures, each with individual experiences and needs. A commitment to understanding and respecting diverse perspectives is crucial in delivering the best possible care. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and trusting environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Clinical Psychologist in Washington State.
  • \n
  • Specialized training and demonstrable competence in evidence-based methodologies for treating mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals regarding client medications and other treatments.
  • \n
  • A proven record of successfully delivering therapeutic outcomes for clients with mood disorders, underscoring your skill set and expertise.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and foster a strong therapeutic alliance with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
