Shift:

Day, night, and overnight every day of the week

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• 1 year of experience in caregiving (family members or professional).
• Willing to commute to Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Watsonville, Soquel areas.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
• Willing to complete all onboarding paperwork.

Payrate:

$18.00 - $22.00

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home
• No more than 20%performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom to assist client(s).
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
