PACU RN - PRN

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team! The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU responsibilities include: Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff. May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the PAT/PACU Pre-operative and Pain Management area. Benefits · Pay: $45.00/hour

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona
• Current BLS certification
• Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 30days of employment.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
• Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
