A pharmacy in the Plantation area near Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for per diem coverage. This opportunity allows flexible work at two local pharmacies within the Fort Lauderdale vicinity, offering valuable experience serving a unique patient population with sensitivity and professionalism.

Location: Plantation (Fort Lauderdale), FL
Schedule:

• Thursday 7/30, 8:30am – 5:30pm
• Regular operation hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 12:30pm (no weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmacy care to patients, specifically supporting those living with HIV/AIDS.
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on HIV/AIDS treatment regimens with empathy and respect.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying and addressing daily operational needs.
• Uphold a high level of communication and teamwork to maintain pharmacy standards and patient trust.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience with a focus on HIV/AIDS drug dispensing.
• Proficient in QS1 pharmacy software or similar systems, with strong computer aptitude.
