This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while being part of our dynamic community health clinic. The role operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, developing a comprehensive understanding of their unique challenges.

• Collaboratively create tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s specific goals, preferences, and circumstances, ensuring individualized care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address the specific needs of clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, the variety of treatment options available, and strategies for effective self-care, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on insights from therapy sessions and outcome assessments.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care tailored to the clients’ needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development opportunities to further refine your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients' needs and mental health stigmatization, working actively to help reduce barriers to care and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also have the opportunity to support various vulnerable populations, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, helping them navigate through their struggles and fostering their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
