Phlebotomist Per Diem

Job Summary Labcorp is seeking a Per Diem Phlebotomist to join our team in Teaneck, NJ. Work Schedule Casual/per diem position. Hours vary: Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm; weekends 7:00am–11:00am. Travel to additional sites may be required. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and related studies. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Serve as the face of the company in patient service centers or client offices. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 6 months or more experience in phlebotomy. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if no work experience. Proven track record in exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standard color‑blindness test. Compensation Pay Range: $17.75–$26.00 per hour.
