Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere throughout the property. The SpringHill Suites by Marriott BHAM Colonnade Grandview is a fine 120 All-Suite Hotel. Located immediately off Exit #19 on I-459 and Hwy #280, the hotel location makes an easy and simple presence and commute. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to maintain pristine conditions. Restock amenities like towels & toiletries to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms with consistent attention to detail. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance by the maintenance team. Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to create a secure environment for guests and staff Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work or custodial roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with energy and professionalism. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods throughout shifts. Reliable punctuality and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
