Kitchen Attendant/ Cook
The person suitable for the position of Kitchen Attendant/ Cook is an
individual who can work efficiently in a team, and independently, who
understands the need for maintaining high standards and delivering excellent
customer service. The ideal candidate is a vibrant individual, with a pleasant
personality and an aptitude to learn quickly. The individual must also be able
to positively contribute to overall customer experience and satisfaction.
Main responsibilities include:

Prepare sandwiches and snacks, and cooked food items on the menu;
Ensure that buffet areas are adequately stocked;
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and work in accordance with monthly cleaning Rota;
Ensure that service equipment used in the kitchen are kept clean and in good working condition;
Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills;
A very polite and pleasant personality with experience in customer service;

Must be able to follow a recipe and be open to learning;
Be able to work unsupervised;
Must possess a certificate in Basic Cooking with a minimum of two years' experience cooking in a restaurant environment;
A certificate in HACCP or previous training in HACCP principles will be preferred.
Must be able to multitask and possess strong time-management skills;
Must be able to stand for extended periods, and work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
