Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Iowa license required Certifications: BLS, Mandatory Reporter required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required; CNOR preferred Description: The traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care for patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Patient ratios are 3:1. Types of surgeries include outpatient surgeries and infusion patients with infusion medications, some titrations (Blood, Platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, Antibiotics; NO CHEMO). Profile should include a valid driver's license. Work history or resume is required. A skills checklist must have been completed within one year of the submission date. License verification is required. A copy of required certifications is necessary. One supervisory reference is required at the time of submission. Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, unless eligible for local rates with a 10% reduction. On-call requirements include 1 weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) per month and roughly 4 weekday calls per month. May need to take holiday on-call if coverage is needed.
