Information Systems Security Officer

Location Quonset Point, RI (on‑site, full‑time) Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux servers/clients, PC desktops, network devices, and supported applications for Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) C‑130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System’s (JMATS) cybersecurity team. Lead systems security, testing, and accreditation activities for multiple training platforms in accordance with the US Government system accreditation process under Risk Management Framework (RMF) including DoDI 8500.01, NIST SP 800‑37, NIST SP 800‑53, and CNSSI 1253. Perform routine security scans and provide engineering‑level research when requested. Apply IT security principles to configure security settings, apply security patches, conduct media reviews, and manage vulnerability scanning, ACAS, POAM, and other security‑related processes. Qualifications Interim Secret Clearance. DoD IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, or SSCP. Experience with NIST SP 800‑53 security controls. Experience with continuous monitoring of system security controls. Experience working with classified information systems. Ability to work independently without appreciable direction. Keen attention to detail and adherence to established security policies. eMASS experience. Prior ISSO/ISSM experience. Extensive experience with Nessus Security Center, McAfee EPO, eSTIG, etc. Experience with NISPOM, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG certification and accreditation processes. Security Clearance Position requires a U.S. government security clearance. Clearances at Secret level are required; U.S. citizenship is required.
