Location: Yorba Linda, CA Work arrangement: On-site Schedule: First shift, typically 6:00 a.m.2:30 p.m. (some flexibility) Duration: 1-year contract with a strong likelihood of temp-to-hire Compensation: $80,000
Nobel Biocare, a division of Envista, is expanding and upgrading its CNC equipmentand is looking for a CNC Maintenance & Reliability Planner to help build a more proactive maintenance program.
This role is ideal for someone who understands CNC equipment and enjoys planning, coordinating, and improving maintenance activities. You'll analyze machine-performance trends, organize preventive maintenance, and work closely with technicians on the production floor to help keep equipment reliable. While this isn't a hands-on repair role, being comfortable spending time on the floor and discussing equipment needs with the maintenance team is important.
What You'll Do
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance for CNC machines.
- Review machine-performance data, including spindle load and event frequency, to spot trends and potential issues.
- Coordinate technician schedules, maintenance priorities, and spare-parts orders.
- Serve as the primary planner for the maintenance team and help ensure resources are used effectively.
- Work with technicians on the production floor to understand equipment conditions and adjust schedules as needed.
- Help the team identify and troubleshoot equipment issues before they lead to unplanned downtime.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a CNC manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of CNC maintenance, equipment reliability, and troubleshooting.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to communicate effectively with technicians.
- Strong planning, organization, and coordination skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to stay connected to what's happening on the production floor.
Preferred: Experience in a regulated industry, such as medical devices or aerospace. Familiarity with Tornos machines is a plus.
