Ultrasound Tech Qualifications:
- ARDMS Certification
- An associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- 2+ years of experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Certification in multiple RDMS modalities preferred
About the Lead Ultrasound Tech Position: As a Lead Ultrasound Technician, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the ultrasound department within a medical facility. Your responsibilities will encompass both technical expertise in conducting ultrasound procedures and leadership skills to coordinate and supervise the activities of the ultrasound team. The position requires a combination of hands-on ultrasound proficiency, managerial skills, and effective communication with medical staff and patients. This role will require you to work on scans in abdomen, small parts, OB, and vascular.
