Job Description

Under limited supervision this position performs complex diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, modifications, and routine service on a wide variety of facilities and building equipment, systems, structures and hardware, including air handlers, domestic water, chilled water, hot water, steam, humidification, building exhaust, compressed air, controls, lighting, electrical, security systems, fire systems, etc. This position requires the worker to carry a pager twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week (24/7) for emergency consultations and call-ins. This role may provide back-up for the Maintenance Supervisor as directed.

• Complete preventive maintenance (PMs)

• Mentor and assist with training of other maintenance technicians

• Acts as a liaison between the maintenance technicians and management

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in completing administrative tasks

• Ensure stock parts inventory (crib) tracking and withdrawal process is implemented correctly

• Assist Maintenance Engineering

• Other duties as assigned

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local regulations

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $59,000.00 - $111,000.00
