Registered Nurse

This role involves working in a critical care float pool for various critical care units. The position requires providing care for critically ill patients with complex medical conditions. We have multiple intensive care units managing diverse patient populations including trauma, surgical, and medical patients. Experience in handling patients who require intensive monitoring and specialized interventions is essential. Sound knowledge of accessing and managing central lines and other critical care procedures is necessary. The role may require floating to different units as needed based on staffing requirements. Every other weekend availability is required. Candidates must be flexible and willing to accept assignments as needed. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and enhancing patient recovery through multidisciplinary approaches. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are critical for success in this role. The ability to work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment is essential. Candidates should demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. All applicants must have knowledge of electronic medical record systems.
