Golden State Orthopedics and Spine We are a large private orthopedic practice (70+ surgeons) in the San Francisco Bay Area looking for a fellowship trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to replace a retiring pediatric orthopedist who has been practicing in the area for 35 years and boasts a thriving practice. We plan to expand pediatric coverage with the help of the new physician, with additional recruitment as required. The practice can develop according to the interests of the new surgeon. Currently, the practice consists of trauma, congenital, neuromuscular, spine, and limb deformity cases with referrals from within the group and the general community. This role will have clinic time in both the East Bay and South Bay areas (Los Gatos and Walnut Creek). The two primary hospitals are community hospitals with heavy, well represented pediatric specialty coverage, Level III NICUs, PICU, and a Level II trauma center. Both are supported by outstanding pediatric anesthesia. Competitive salary with bonus structure with the expectation that the surgeon will become a partner in this large practice with approximately 70 physicians. Multiple group‑owned surgery centers offer opportunity for ownership and substantial ancillary income.
