Senior Tax Accountant

Support the preparation and review of federal and state corporate income tax returns. Prepare quarterly and annual estimated tax calculations and payments. Assist with quarterly and year-end income tax provisions and related supporting schedules. Prepare tax workpapers, including analysis of book-to-tax differences and supporting calculations. Coordinate with external tax advisors and review information used in outsourced tax filings. Research federal, state, and local tax regulations and evaluate their impact on the organization. Assist with state and federal tax audits, including gathering documentation and responding to information requests. Support additional tax filings, which may include sales and use tax, personal property tax, annual reports, and other state or local requirements. Prepare and maintain data used within tax compliance and tax provision systems. Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Serve as an internal resource for tax-related questions from accounting, finance, and other business functions. Assist with tax-related financial analysis, planning, and special projects. Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reporting, documentation, and internal controls. Maintain accurate and organized tax records while handling confidential financial information.
