Job Description

The Tax Preparer Bookkeeper plays a vital role in managing tax preparation and bookkeeping tasks for a medium-sized client portfolio. This position involves accurate data entry and maintaining financial records while engaging moderately with clients. The role is ideal for individuals with experience in tax and bookkeeping within a professional setting, and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file accurate tax returns for clients
Maintain and update bookkeeping records
Perform precise data entry to support financial documentation
Communicate moderately with clients regarding their tax and bookkeeping needs
Manage a client portfolio ranging from 5 to 10 accounts

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping
Associate degree in Accounting or related field
