Teksky LLC is actively seeking an Experienced Electromechanical Designer to support a growing engineering team in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in AutoCAD, engineering drawings, and electro-mechanical drafting who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and revise engineering drawings, layouts, assemblies, and detailed designs using AutoCAD.
• Produce structural, electrical, and mechanical drafting packages based on engineering specifications.
• Create foundation, building, and structural drawings while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare detailed documentation and maintain drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Estimate material quantities required for fabrication and construction.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure design accuracy and project completion within established timelines.
• Assist with additional engineering and drafting assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in electromechanical drafting or design.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and computer-aided drafting software.
• Experience preparing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of drafting standards, layouts, and engineering terminology.
• Solid mathematical skills, including Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to work onsite in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Education & Experience

• Certification or degree from an accredited Drafting & Design program.
• At least 3 years of hands-on electromechanical drafting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience creating engineering drawings.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience is required.

Work Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
