Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the EEG/Cardiopulmonary Director, performs various EEG tests including standard EEG, Electrocerebral Inactivity, Neonatal EEG and other neurological tests such as Evoked Potentials and assists in Nerve Conduction Studies. Responsible for attaching electrodes utilizing the 10-20 International System and other monitors as needed to patients from neonatal to geriatric. Monitors the patient throughout the test and documents observations, collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the physician via report.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist preferred
• 1-3 years EEG experience preferred
• Health experience required
