OB/GYN Physician

Jackson & Coker is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Kentucky. This role involves 24-hour call coverage in an inpatient hospital setting, focusing on a variety of obstetric and gynecological procedures. The ideal candidate will provide essential coverage for 6-7 shifts per month, contributing to comprehensive patient care.

Practice Info

• Practice Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-Based
• Patient Population: Adult
• 100% inpatient coverage
• Average patient volume: 1–6 patients per day
• Nursery Level II
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Manage in-house and beeper/phone call responsibilities
• Perform routine vaginal deliveries
• Perform low forceps deliveries
• Make decisions for C-sections
• Manage complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform VBACs
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
• Kentucky medical license or active IMLC
• BLS certification
• DEA license
