Asphalt Laborer

Job Summary:

McNamara Contracting, a McNamara Company, is seeking skilled laborer on our patch crew to join our team. A laborer will support the crew with a variety of tasks.

Position Description:

• Shovel and rake hot asphalt to reach the right grade and thickness.
• Prepare job sites, perform grading, and clean up debris.
• Operate small tools like plate compactors, tampers, and hand rollers.
• Load and move dirt, aggregate, rocks, equipment, cement, bituminous or other materials, using trucks, tractors, loaders, excavators, graders, or related equipment.
• Support the patch crew on daily tasks and needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

• A valid Driver's License and CDL.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous operating experience.
• Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work collectively as a team and independently.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, sit, walk and do physical work for 10+ hours a day.

Pay Rate: $44.05/ hour

• Ability to lift various dimensions and weights frequently.
• Frequent travel between job sites.
