Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with potential outpatient clinic exposure
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• CA state license required
• License required if applicable
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Experience with orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurologic patient populations preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across acute care and outpatient settings
• Utilizes a range of therapeutic equipment including gait belts, walkers, slings, and lifts
• Performs modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, and traction as needed
• Provides patient and family education, including home exercise programs
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are outside the 50-mile radius
• Open to candidates without prior travel experience
